Michel Gagnon becomes CEO of Airex Énergie

Airex Énergie has announced the appointment of Michel Gagnon as CEO. The company will benefit from his leadership, financial expertise in developing major projects, and outstanding ability to implement innovative procurement and logistics initiatives. This appointment comes at a key moment for Airex Énergie, which is experiencing a significant increase in demand for its innovative decarbonization solutions. Michel Gagnon has over 35 years of experience in executive roles in the light metals and energy industries. Throughout his career, he served as Vice President, Finance and Business Development at Aluminerie Alouette before becoming President at GNL Québec, and most recently, CEO at Alliance Magnésium. In addition, it has developed and maintained strong long-term relationships with international partners.

Recognized by his peers, Michel received the "CFO of the year" award in the private sector category in 2012 from the Quebec section of Financial Executives International. He is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
