Laval, Québec, October 5, 2026 – Airex Energy’s Board of Directors announces a leadership transition designed to support the company’s next phase of growth. As part of this evolution, Michel Gagnon, who has served as Chief Executive Officer since May 2022, will assume the newly created role of Chief Development Officer. The Board is also pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Cantin, Chief Financial Officer, and Frédéric Pinard, Chief Operating Officer, as Co-Chief Executive Officers.

A Planned Transition Built on the Team’s Strengths

After four years as CEO, Michel Gagnon will take on the role of Chief Business Development Officer. In this capacity, he will leverage nearly 40 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and industrial project execution to support Airex Energy’s growth. Under his leadership, the company achieved several important milestones, including the commissioning of Carbonity and the advancement of strategic projects that have positioned the company as a leader in industrial decarbonization. This transition, which has already been underway internally for several months, is part of a carefully planned succession process that will ensure continued execution of the company’s strategy.
