Jim Rekoske Nominated to Airex Energy Board of Directors, Bringing Deep Industrial and Technology Expertise

Airex Energy is pleased to announce the nomination of Jim Rekoske to its Board of Directors. Jim Rekoske is a senior executive and chemical engineer with more than 32 years of experience in the chemicals, energy, and industrial technology sectors. He currently serves as an independent advisor to multiple companies, private equity firms, and venture capital firms, providing strategic guidance on technology development, commercialization, and growth in global industrial markets.

Over the course of his career, Jim Rekoske has held multiple C-level and general management roles. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Technology Platforms & Growth at Ecolab, where he led technology strategy, research and development, and venture investment activities across global industrial markets. He also served as Chief Technology Officer at Honeywell UOP and Vice President & General Manager of Renewable Energy & Chemicals. He has led the commercialization and scaleup of capital-intensive technologies worldwide, with deep expertise in process engineering, catalysis, and first-of-a-kind industrial projects.

He also brings significant board and governance experience, having served as an Independent Director for Pyrowave, a Quebec-based company specializing in pyrolysis technologies, as well as on the boards of joint ventures within Honeywell UOP. His background includes working closely with investors, managing complex technology risks, and supporting growth stage industrial ventures.

Mr. Rekoske holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He also earned a Master of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Chicago. In addition to his executive and board experience, Mr. Rekoske is a widely published author and inventor, with dozens of peer‑reviewed scientific publications, books, and more than 40 issued U.S. patents reflecting his contributions to industrial chemistry and process innovation.
